The Towns County Convention & Visitors Bureau is committed to being transparent and providing thorough information about the tourism impact to our residents, business owners and visitors.

Towns County is one of the fastest growing counties in tourism for our region. This is a direct result of our industry partners continuing to provide an unparalleled experience to those visiting the area. Tax revenue generated by tourism reduced the burden on individuals an average of $837 per household.

Direct tourist spending in Towns County was $53.48 million dollars for 2018.  That number is up from 2017 which was $51.71 million dollars.  Overall our numbers have increased by 16% since 2015. This is considerable growth proving Towns County has become a destination for those wanting to visit the North Georgia mountains.
